1. 功效及作用

抗氧化:麦角硫因作为一种相对稳定的天然抗氧化剂,具有强大的体内及体外自由基清除能力;

预防紫外线伤害:麦角硫因的紫外线吸收特性可使肌肤减少紫外线的伤害;

麦角硫因能抑制过氧亚硝基阴离子介导的氨基酸氧化,具有良好的抗炎作用;

麦角硫因能够抑制酪氨酸酶的活性,阻碍色素形成和沉着,提亮肤色、美白肌肤。

L-ergothioneine (EGT, ERGO) is a naturally rare chiral amino acid strong antioxidant, first discovered in ergot fungi in 1909. It is a natural antioxidant, safe and non-toxic, and has various physiological functions such as detoxification and maintaining DNA biosynthesis.


1. Efficacy and effects

(1)  Antioxidation: Erythroside, as a relatively stable natural antioxidant, has strong in vivo and in vitro free radical scavenging ability;

⑵  Prevention of UV damage: The UV absorption characteristics of ergot sulfur can reduce UV damage to the skin;

(3)  ergot sulfur can inhibit the oxidation of amino acids mediated by peroxynitrite anions and has good anti-inflammatory effects;

(4)  ergot sulfur can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, hinder pigment formation and deposition, brighten skin tone, and whiten skin.


With further research, it has been found that compared with natural antioxidants such as vitamin C and glutathione, ergot sulfur has superior physiological functions in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory aspects. Especially, it has important application value in anti oxidative damage, maintaining redox balance, detoxification, etc. It can be used in different fields as medicine, dietary supplement, cosmetics raw materials, etc.
